About Kotos Adventures Dive Center!
If you haven't figured it out yet the name Kotos is NOT from the traditional Japanese stringed instrument.
It is an acronym from a nick name or phrase that people use to describe me.
It stems from this phrase:
King Of The Octopus Sightings (KOTOS). That is what people say about me and the name just stuck. After diving with us you will know why.
Hi! I am Jeremias, a Open Water Safety Instructor / Dive Instructor currently living on Roatán. I was born in the city of La Ceiba, Atlantida which is located on the southern edge of the Caribbean and grew up in the municipality of El Porvenir.
My first job was in the Standard Fruit Company at the age of 18 years in the city of La Ceiba. Then I decided to move to Roatán and started working as a tank boy in a dive shop shortly after settling in, I worked in that area for 3 years.
FYI I like Purple.
Eureka! It all started the day I did snorkeling for the first time, I loved it, I was fascinated by the aquatic world. That's the reason why I decided to become a diving Instructor, it has been 9 years now as an instructor with over 7,000 dives.
Something I love about my job is helping others and introducing them for the first time ever to "My World", it is an incomparable experience, something that everyone should try and what better place than in the crystal clear waters of Roatán.
