Dive Instructor (SSI)& Founder
Jeremias, a Honduran native, began his journey in the dive community as a resort tank boy. After 3 years of hard work he earned his SSI Instructor Certification in 2015. Jeremias thinking ahead, wanted to provide clients personalized services not typically found in resort shops, so he founded Kotos Adventures in 2019. He is passionate about helping others and introducing them to what he so appropriately calls "My World". With over 4,000 dives in the Bay Island area, you are diving in his back yard. If he did not point it out to you, it just was not there.
Dive Master (SSI)
José joined the Kotos Adventures team in 2021 bringing a wealth of knowledge from his previous positions at other dive centers in Roatan. Having José in our team has been one of the best decisions we have made, with his contributions to the team and his kind and courteous manner towards our customers. He maintains an atmosphere of great joy and charisma on each and every dive. When you dive with José there is no doubt that you will have an incredible time, your underwater safety is his main priority and also that you have a great experience.
Dive Master (SSI)
Bill is from Boston Ma USA, who always had a love and passion for the ocean and sea life since he was a little kid. He started keeping fish tanks as a young teen everything from fresh water to salt and eventually Coral Reef tanks. Bill started diving in 1995 in the Dominican Republic and since then has dived all over the Caribbean, since retiring in 2022 he started diving with Kotos and became a Dive Master in 2023. If you see Billy at the shop, you will know winter is back in Boston and he is here to help out. He is a valuable asset to our company.
Dive Master in Training(SSI)
Dany is a very hard-working and attentive young man with a great passion for diving and the industry. He started working at Kotos Adventures Diving Center as crew member in November 2023 with a lot of desire to learn how to dive. In December of the same year he took the open water course which helped him reinforce craving for knowledge and Danny's desire grew even more to continue with his diving pursuit, his dream is to be a diving leader in the near future.
Boat Captain/Open Water Diver
Joel has been a ship's captian since 2015 and started full time with Kotos in 2022. He was born and raised here on the beautiful island of Roatán, he knows waters extremely well. Joel has the innate ability to follow divers on his boat, even when other dive groups may intermingle. That is a rare ability to have. Since he is a diver as well, he understands how to prep your gear and get you carefully in and out of the water, without harm. He is conscious of the safety of reef as well as all his passengers.
